Tinderbox Arts produces festivals, showcases, and workshops to empower independent musical artists. To date, Tinderbox has presented four large scale festivals showcasing female artists and female-fronted bands from across the world which have been lauded by publications such as The New York Times, The New Yorker, Billboard, and more. In addition to highlighting female musical talent, Tinderbox has been committed to providing a platform for innovative musical artists of all genders and genres since 2010. Tinderbox is thrilled to finally announce that it now works with a dedicated roster of artists on an ongoing basis through Tinderbox PR & Consulting Services.

TINDERBOX MUSIC FESTIVAL
Tinderbox Music Festival is an event showcasing a powerful and diverse lineup of established and emerging female artists producing innovative original music. Rooted in the vibrant New York City music scene, Tinderbox fosters community by providing opportunities to perform, collaborate, and connect. Tinderbox also donates 100% of its net proceeds to organizations involved in empowering the next generation of female artists including GIRLS WRITE NOW, an organization providing guidance and opportunities for NYC’s underserved high school girls to develop their independent voices and explore careers in professional writing, and the WILLIE MAE ROCK CAMP FOR GIRLS, a non-profit music and mentoring program empowering girls and women through music education and activities.
