This year we had a record number of artist submissions and the Tinderbox Submissions Committee had to make some very tough decisions regarding so many talented artists. As we grow we hope we will have room to showcase even more artists each year! While you anxiously await our official 2012 lineup announcement, remember we have an awesome benefit concert/bake sale coming up on Wednesday, October 3rd at Public Assembly. Just a reminder that submissions close today at midnight! If you are a female artist or in a female fronted band, we strongly encourage you to submit your music! Artists can submit via ReverbNation or by email (click here for more information ) for the chance to perform at Webster Hall with CocoRosie and many other amazing female artists!

Tinderbox Music Festival Fall Fundraiser a Success!
Last night Tinderbox hosted its first ever fundraiser at the WeWork Lounge in SoHo. It was a night filled with food, drinks, and amazing performances by The Bandana Splits, Alyson Greenfield, and Nellie McKay! Our raffle and silent auction were also a huge success, as was the wonderful live art created by Laura Lee Gulledge and Andrea Sparacio. We would like to thank everyone for participating and helping us to make Tinderbox Music Festival bigger and better than ever for 2012! Thanks again to everyone who came and partied for a cause!

Tinderbox Fall Fundraiser
Come support Tinderbox at our Fall Fundraiser September 13th at The Lounge at WeWork. The fundraiser will include an open bar, food from local restaurants, a silent auction, customized tote bags, and a raffle for a free lunch with one of four influential entertainment industry reps. The event also features live musical performances by Alyson Greenfield (Tinderbox Festival Founder & Director), The Bandana Splits, and award-winning singer, actress and activist Nellie McKay (Verve Records) whose music has been heard on Weeds, Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS, Privileged, Nurse Jackie, and Boardwalk Empire.
