Tinderbox 2012 Lineup is Almost Ready!
This year we had a record number of artist submissions and the Tinderbox Submissions Committee had to make some very tough decisions regarding so many talented artists. As we grow we hope we will have room to showcase even more artists each year! While you anxiously await our official 2012 lineup announcement, remember we have an awesome benefit concert/bake sale coming up on Wednesday, October 3rd at Public Assembly. Details are available on our Facebook page. We hope to see you there!

Tinderbox Music Festival 2012 Submissions Closing Today
Just a reminder that submissions close today at midnight! If you are a female artist or in a female fronted band, we strongly encourage you to submit your music! Artists can submit via ReverbNation or by email (click here for more information ) for the chance to perform at Webster Hall with CocoRosie and many other amazing female artists!

The Tinderbox 2012 Fall Fundraiser is exactly a week away. Next Thursday, September 13th at 7:00 PM the WeWork Lounge in Manhattan will be filled with Tinderbox supporters drinking, dining and enjoying live music! Have you bought your ticket yet? Tinderbox Music Festival is the premiere NYC-based event showcasing “What’s Next” in the independent female music scene. In the past 2 years since the festival was formed it has received press from The New York Times and Billboard, and has partnered with Converse, ASCAP, Time Out New York, BUST, and more. Since playing at the Tinderbox Music Festival, selected artists have gone on to receive accolades from MTV, The New York Music Awards, The Village Voice, and Paste Magazine; play at festivals such as CMJ and SXSW; and tour nationally and internationally.
Winter Song / Time Out NY
Time Out NY encourages you to go to Winter Song this Wednesday, December 21 at Mercury Lounge featuring Lelia Broussard, Alyson Greenfield, Allison’s Invention, and Stephanie Carlin! A percentage of proceeds go to support the Tinderbox Songwriting Workshop for young women in NYC! We hope to see you there!
Winter Song Benefit @Mercury Lounge
Our last event of 2011 will be the first annual Winter Song benefit at NYC’s Mercury Lounge. The event is being co-presented with Inherent Artists, and will be headlined by Rolling Stone’s “Do you Wanna Be a Rock & Roll Star Contest” Runner Up Lelia Broussard! The night also features performances from Alyson Greenfield, Allison’s Invention, and Stephanie Carlin. A percentage of the event’s proceeds will help fund the 2012 Tinderbox Arts Songwriting Workshop. There will also be a $2/ticket raffle for signed CDs from some wonderful female artists and a grand prize of 2 tickets to Tinderbox Music Festival 2012. Hope to see you in a month at Mercury!
