Tinderbox 2013 Press Recap
Meet the Line-Up: Deerhoof
This four-piece art-pop band started out as a small noise group in the 90’s in San Francisco. Since then, Deerhoof has transformed into one of the most influential indie bands of the last decade or so. In their typical fashion, the band intends to create entirely unique songs and albums, as to avoid becoming musically repetitive. So, in going to one of Deerhoof’s shows, you can never guess exactly what you’re going to get! By mixing a certain sense of surprise and excitement in their experimental art-pop songs, the band is always able to present a high-energy and upbeat live show.
Join us at the Main stage on Friday night to watch Deerhoof close out Tinderbox 2013!

Meet the Line-Up: Lady Lamb The Beekeeper
This Maine native, come Brooklyn local, boats quiet the vocals for a young twenty-something year old. Lady Lamb’s sound blends folky guitar riffs with her powerful lyrics, and often sad and angry tones to create both a poetic and sonically dynamic piece of music. Catch her at the Main stage on Friday night!

Meet the Line-Up: Elizabeth & The Catapult
This Brooklyn-based trio, fronted by songstress Elizabeth Ziman, perfectly blends both powerful, moving, and upbeat rhythms and vocals to form a beautifully mixed folk-pop sound. With a new album set to launch in January 2014, we’re hoping to hear a couple of brand new songs from Elizabeth & The Catapult at this year’s festival!
