Tinderbox Music Festival will donate proceeds to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts

In light of the devastating damage from Hurricane Sandy in New York City, Tinderbox Music Festival will now donate a portion of its net proceeds to New York Cares‘ disaster relief fund. New York Cares is the city’s largest volunteer organization, running volunteer programs for 1,300 nonprofits, city agencies, and public schools. “Tinderbox’s mission has always included giving back to the community,” says Alyson Greenfield, Tinderbox Music Festival’s Founder and Director. “This year we feel it is important to help with the immediate local need in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.”
